Samyang 14 mm 3,1 Canon EF

This wide-angle lens from Samyang has been designed to meet the demands of videographers and photographers. The aperture is continuously adjustable from 3.1 to 22, and the focus adjustment is smooth and easy. This allows for smooth tracking of the focus when shooting video. The aperture ring and focus ring are equipped with a toothed ring and are thus optimised for use with follow focus systems. For better legibility, the distance and aperture scales are arranged on the side.

Unlike telephoto lenses, the wide-angle reduces the image scale for the same subject distance, making it possible to capture a larger area. The Samyang lens is suitable for the entire spectrum of photography and videography, but especially for landscapes and indoor shots. The distinct impression of depth offers room for creative impressions. With a closest focusing distance of just 28 cm, the manually focusable wide-angle lens is particularly suitable for sharp and high-contrast images at close range. Thanks to the excellent light intensity of 1:3.1, optimal shots are possible even in unfavourable light conditions.
